Sanitana Reference Projects
Sanitana is firmly committed to sustainable development, a responsibility embraced across the entire organization. This commitment is rooted in the company’s Environmental Policy and its Environmental Management System, certified under NP ISO 14001 since 2007. It is further reinforced through clearly defined goals that contribute tangibly to minimizing environmental impact. One of the company’s key priorities on the path toward decarbonization is the reduction of CO₂ emissions.
Fully aware that resource management is essential, Sanitana applies circularity principles throughout its production processes to reduce the depletion of natural resources and minimize waste generation.
As a manufacturer of bathroom solutions, Sanitana values the planet’s resources. That’s why it designs technologies and sustainable products that promote water and energy conservation in customers’ everyday routines.
Circular economy plays a key role in resource efficiency by making products more sustainable and extending their life cycle. At Sanitana, this commitment is brought to life through the Roca Group's Circularity Program, which is structured around five strategic areas supported by specific action plans:
- Eco-Design – Development of new products based on circularity principles and extended product lifespan;
- Materials – Reducing environmental impact by incorporating alternative raw materials or recycled components;
- Packaging – Increasing the recyclability of packaging and reducing the use of single-use plastics;
- Waste – Aiming for zero waste, ensuring all waste is either reused internally or reused in other industrial processes;
- End of Life – Extending product life by educating and supporting users in the correct disposal or recycling of products at the end of their life cycle;
As part of our commitment to sustainability and the circular economy, our product packaging is recyclable.
Cardboard packaging should be disposed of in the blue recycling bin.
Plastic packaging should be disposed of in the yellow recycling bin.
We urge you to dispose of packaging waste correctly, thereby helping to reduce environmental impact and promoting good waste management practices and the circular economy.
