Check here for general recommendations on cleaning and maintaining your sanitary products.
Sanitary ceramics are safe and hygienic materials thanks to their vitrified surface, which makes cleaning and maintenance easier, prevents moisture absorption, and reduces the risk of fungi and bacteria growth.
For everyday cleaning, we recommend using a neutral, non-abrasive detergent applied with a soft cloth or sponge. Avoid harsh products with a pH above 10 and abrasive materials, as these can damage the vitrified surface. If cleaning is less frequent or water quality is not sufficient, dirt stains or limestone deposits may appear. When a neutral detergent is no longer effective, you can try one of the following alternatives:
Use a solution of 2/3 baking soda to 1/3 hydrogen peroxide. Apply to the affected areas, let it sit for at least one hour, then rinse thoroughly with water. Dry with a clean, soft cloth. For your protection, always wear gloves and avoid contact of the solution with metal or wooden parts.
Use a solution of equal parts water and white vinegar. Apply to the affected areas, leave it on for at least one hour, then rinse thoroughly with water. Dry with a clean, soft cloth. To preserve the product, avoid contact of the solution with metal or wooden parts.
Perform maintenance on your products every six months. It's recommended to check the joints and drainage systems to ensure watertightness. If you detect water leaks, it may be necessary to replace rubber gaskets or seals. Also, inspect the sanitary ware for any cracks, as these pose a risk of leaks and may compromise structural stability. For safety reasons, replace any damaged products as soon as possible.
